ACT UP NY has a rich history of AIDS and related activism, fighting for social justice and equality. In solidarity with the Palestinian people, ACT UP NY is endorsing the BDS Movement and calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza. We recognize the devastating impact of the ongoing violence and oppression in Palestine, and we stand against apartheid, occupation, and genocide. By joining forces with the BDS Movement, we aim to pressure Israel to comply with international law and advocate for the fundamental rights of all Palestinians. The ACT UP NY Floor has voted and approved 50% of proceeds for direct medical aid to Palestinian people fleeing Gaza on this merchandise launch.
